Magpie windows should have more properties in order to better interact with a desktop environment. These may include:

  • minimum and maximum window dimensions OR...
  • ...fixed window dimensions
  • configurable clear color
  • window decorations on/off
  • X11 window class (for docks, notifications, overlays, etc.)

More properties may be appropriate, if you have any ideas, please leave a comment on this issue!

Oh, we should also have the option to open Magpie windows in specific positions. This may require that the monitor to open the window on is specified, but oh well, we'll get there when we get there.
