Changed the API to replace hooks with event handler callbacks 6bea614044

Element core now conforms to the new API 662d3464e2

X backend now conforms to new API c0d013a9fb

Mouse test now conforms to new API 8a72e8bf01

Basic elements now conform to the new API (largely untested) c813463bb4
