The window's root will be sectioned off to a small square in the upper-left corner, and the rest of the window will be blank. There is a black square because the canvas is allocated in discrete steps, and it (most likely) has nothing to do with this issue.

Fax

  • This is likely to be a race condition as it only happens occasionally
  • Resizing the window "fixes" it
