--This background is from The End of Evangelion (1997), at 1h26m47s. -The copy I have is at 1920x1080 and was downloaded from 4anime.to for Fair Use as protected by United States Law. -The Krita project and dependent files are available in the previously-linked Internet Archive page, and were edited using Krita 4.4.1. -The output file was exported as a JPEG with 25% quality (I remember this time). -
--The picture is me in front of my Commodore 1702. -Beyond the reach of the cameralens is that I have it hooked up to my Thinkpad through DisplayPort, a DisplayPort to HDMI adapter, an HDMI to composite baseband video adapter, and finally into the television via composite. -It's playing The Matrix (1998). Lots of effort for something not shown but the recollection amuses me so I think it was worth it. -The keyboard I had in my lap, ironically, was connected to the other computer under the desk at which I was sitting. -That computer was powered on but not connected to any monitors. -
-My point with that is that the setup pictured was decorative. Too bad, too, but the 1702 is too low-res to use seriously. :(
