<P>The issue was that on any modern mobile devices I used (Safari on iOS late 13.x to 14.2 and some privacy-friendly fork of Firefox for Android later) the columns would look weird due to scaling, and on most browsers I really care about supporting (Lynx, Mothra on plan9front, and NCSA Mosaic) the HTML table wouldn't even be rendered. When I tested it it only looked good on graphics-focused desktop web browsers and honestly I would rather have the site be displayed consistently on all devices than have it look pretty. So it bothered me for a while until I got rid of it.</P>

I use a Unihertz Titan, which is a phone that resembles a Blackberry but is much thicker and has a really high-capacity battery.

<B>I do not recommend it.</B>

Unihertz won't release their modified Linux kernel (which is a violation of the GPL2) and alternative ROMs suffer for it.

I also have a Pinephone, which I'd like to use as my daily carry but the currently-available software is so buggy I just can't.

So far I've tried PostmarketOS with sxmo and Phosh, and the Manjaro with Plasma Mobile with which the phone came.

All were unnacceptably buggy but have very exciting potential.

You may have also seen me out and about with an iPhone SE (2016), which I used for a year or so, and which I also don't recommend.

iOS is more of a toy than a tool and always seemed like it was discouraging me from creating anything with it.

The jailbreak scene is also obnoxiously awful, filled with equal parts anti-piracy pro-proprietary Apple fanboys and script-kiddie pro-proprietary Microsoft lamers.

They will work to prevent the copying and redistribution of modular iOS mods and charge money for even the most basic homebrew apps.

Seriously, the iOS jailbreak community is the worst development community I've ever seen. I think 4chan/pol/ is more civil.

That I've seen, the only value to iOS devices is their camera, and I'll probably end up going the Stanley Leiber route and just use my SE as a very shiny photograph tool.

Before my iPhone and an abysmal Blu C4 "smart" phone (since given away), I used a variety of feature-phones I disliked.
